Religious Accommodations and Equality: A Comparative View

Please join CLIHHR for a lunchtime lecture on the right to religious freedom and its relationship to equality and nondiscrimination norms under both domestic and international human rights law. Lunch will be served.
 
Faraz Sanei is a Visiting Instructor of Clinical Law and the Telford Taylor Teaching Fellow at the Benjamin B. Ferencz Human Rights and Atrocity Prevention Clinic. 
 
Prior to joining Cardozo he was the Director of the Project for Freedom of Religion or Belief at the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies (The Graduate Center, City University of New York) and a Legal Advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief. From 2010 to 2015, Faraz served as the Iran and Gulf researcher with Human Rights Watch's Middle East and North Africa division.
