Fashion Law Symposium

February 26, 2019 - 9:00am to 5:30pm

The FAME Center and the Cardozo Fashion Law Society invite you to the Fashion Law Symposium, taking place in the Jacob Burns Moot Court Room and Lobby.

Come hear what legal counsel, designers, and other movers and shakers in the industry have to say on "innovation in fashion." The Symposium will emphasize those aspects in the fashion industry that are rapidly changing, such as the influencing shift from magazines to social media; wearable technology and the use of AI to improve consumers’ experience with fashion; sustainability initiatives; and retail changes from brick-and-mortar/department stores to e-commerce—with the legal perspective in mind.

Participants include founders of fashion companies, influencers, attorneys from firms such as Pryor Cashman and Dunnington Bartholow & Miller LP, and corporate counsel from Marquee Brands.

Light breakfast, lunch, and evening hors d’oeuvres will be served.

There are 4 transitional/non-transitional NY CLE credits available in “Areas of Professional Practice.”
