Current Job: Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Terex Corporation
Eric's responsibilities as SVP and GC include managing all global legal affairs, SEC matters, product safety, ethics and compliance. Eric is also a member of Terex's senior executive leadership team, participating in the general management, strategy, and administrative aspects of Terex’s business.
Terex Corporation is a Fortune 500 company whose shares are listed on The New York Stock Exchange. Terex is a global manufacturer of a broad range of lifting material handling equipment for use in various industries, including the construction, infrastructure, quarrying, light mining, shipping, transportation, refining, and utility industries.
Prior to joining the company, Eric was a corporate partner with the New York City law firm of Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman LLP (now Bryan Cave LLP). Eric’s practice was in the general corporate and corporate securities area.
Eric has had a long-standing commitment to Cardozo. He serves on the Cardozo Board of Overseers and is Chair of the Alumni Committee. Eric is married to Gail Cohen, also a 1983 Cardozo alumna, and together they established a Scholarship to assist students in achieving their dreams of legal education. As a Cardozo student, Eric was the Managing Editor of the Cardozo Law Review.
In addition to his leadership roles at Cardozo, Eric is on the Board of Directors of the Pro Bono Partnership and a member of the Board of Directors of the Westchester County and Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
