Prior to joining Cardozo School of Law, Ashley was a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. Her practice primarily focused on commercial litigation and intellectual property matters, including trademark, false advertising, and domain name disputes. She also had an active pro bono practice, representing clients in divorce, immigration, and small business matters. Prior to that, Ashley served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas C. Wheeler of the United States Court of Federal Claims. Ashley is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and earned her J.D., cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, where she was active as a Student Attorney in the Civil Rights Clinic as well as the Investor Justice and Education Clinic. She also served as a Henry Ramsey Dean’s Fellow for Howard Law’s Legal Writing Center. Ashley is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
