Law in China Program
In 2006, The Heyman Center inaugurated a new international program focusing on the study of law and business issues in China. Several students and faculty at Cardozo have experience working and traveling in China and a significant number more have Chinese language skills and an interest in pursuing careers in or related to China. The Law and Business in China Program seeks to analyze China's rapidly rising global economic influence and the legal developments that have accompanied such growth.
This introduction to the current legal, financial and regulatory environment in China will serve as the foundation for a seminar on Chinese Law and Business through which students will receive academic credit upon the completion of an original research project.
The Law and Business in China is a 2 week program, typically held in early-mid January.
