Dean Melanie Leslie spoke with Cardozo's incoming class of 2019 at orientation on Thursday, August 18, 2016. The students, who are part of the school's 40th class, learned about Cardozo's history of ambition, innovation, leadership and activism. "It's our 40th year, so I want to talk about the things that have made the law school great," said Dean Leslie. "The four values that characterize us and explain why we're different than other law schools."
