The Cardozo Residence Hall
Cardozo offers housing to a number of incoming law students in the Alabama, an apartment building located at 15 East 11th Street. The building is situated on an attractive, tree-lined street just one block south of the Law School, in the heart of Manhattan's Greenwich Village. Studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom shares, and two-bedroom apartments are available. The apartments have a full kitchen and are furnished with a desk, dresser, bed, table, and chairs for each occupant. They are all air-conditioned and wired for cable television and telephone service. Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the basement.
Detailed information about the residence hall, including the housing application and instructions, is available here.

Finding Off-Campus Accommodations
Many students find housing in Greenwich Village, Tribeca, SoHo, and other neighborhoods near the Cardozo campus. The School is conveniently accessible to many bus and subway lines, and is a short subway or bus ride to Penn Station and Grand Central Station. Students can commute easily from other New York neighborhoods where rents are relatively inexpensive. The 2012 Housing in New York Guide (
2012_Housing_Guide.pdf) provides information regarding New York City's various neighborhoods and tips on finding an apartment in the metropolitan area. An updated guide will be posted here in early June.
In Need of an Apartment or Roommate?
Members of the Cardozo community may list their available apartments and/or interest in finding a roommate by joining the Class of 2016 Facebook group, which will be available to incoming students later this spring.
