The subject will be U.S. v. European surveillance laws from a business perspective. The panel will compare regulations, government access to emails and data from customers/users gathered by companies, limitations to compliance with U.S. regulations for U.S. companies in Switzerland and Europe, and vice versa. The last update on this topic is the decision from the European Court of Justice, which invalidated the directive 2006/24/EC in connection with telecommunication and internet companies retaining data for governments
