Before coming to Cardozo, Professor Wishart was the associate director of the law libraries of Georgetown University and Washington and Lee University; she also held public service positions in the main research library of Washington University in St. Louis. Professor Wishart serves on law school site evaluation teams for the American Bar Association and is active in local and national professional associations. Her scholarship focuses on library management and legal research.
In 1996, she received the West Excellence in Academic Law Librarianship Award. She has also been nominated by the Cardozo faculty as a recipient of the Monrad G. Paulsen award and has been recognized by three Cardozo graduating classes for providing outstanding service. In 2012 she was a recipient of The Roy M. Mersky Spirit of Law Librarianship award in recognition of her work, outside of Cardozo, on behalf of her homeless neighbors.
