Bio

Since 1992, Hope Winthrop has served on the New York Peace Institute (formerly known as Safe Horizon) panel of mediators. She mediates a myriad of disputes, including those involving interpersonal, employment, family, civil/commercial, and securities issues. She has participated as a trainer in ADR techniques at Brooklyn Law School, Cardozo Law School, Columbia Law School, the NYS Division of Human Rights, the First District - Appellate Division, the Bar Association of the City of New York, and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Hope has completed special certification programs in Special Education, Custody and Visitation, Victim/Offender, Human Rights, PINS, and Civilian Compaint Review Board.

 

Ms. Winthrop works with the Mediation Clinic in Cardozo's Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution.
