Professor Arcitio is an Adjunct Professor of Lawyering & Legal Writing. He is Of Counsel at the law firm of Kaufman Dolowich LLP and his background includes defending New York state and federal lawsuits on matters involving commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability and insurance coverage and litigation. He earned his B.A. from the University of San Diego and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
He is a published author of an article entitled “Unraveling the Inequitable Nature of the Model Minority: Asian Americans Deserve Affirmative Action” with the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender and Social Justice. He recently published an article entitled "The Impact of RICO Lawsuits on Bodily Injury Claims" with Thomson Reuters.
Professor Arcitio is President-Elect for the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York and a member of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association. He is a Board Member for St. John's Alumni of Color Chapter. He sits on the national planning committee for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation's annual Judge Thomas Tang and Dr. Pearl Moot Court Competition.
