“I loved making the connection between what I learned in the classroom and work as a practitioner. The attorneys I worked with showed me what zealous advocacy looks like: giving voice to people who are truly voiceless.”

On April 8, 2014 Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is proud to be hosting its 22nd Annual Public Service Auction. A student driven event, the Auction raises funds to provide opportunities for students to receive summer stipends for otherwise uncompensated internships in the public sector.
Support for Cardozo’’s Public Service Stipend Program is critical for the students and also for the clients they serve in underrepresented areas including: women’s health, immigration and poverty. The stipend also allows students to travel nationally and internationally, to places such as Rwanda, Lao and Delhi to advance their law training while serving the common good.
Each year the Public Service Auction proves to be a wonderful, festive event, with delicious food, spirits and fabulous prizes available at the Silent, Live and Online Auctions. To purchase tickets or to make a donation to the Auction, please click here. You may also help support the Auction by contributing to an individual student’s fundraising campaign or by clicking here to donate an auction item.
A record number of students have applied for the 2014 Summer Stipend Program and we need your help to meet this great demand. This year’s goal is $575,000, and with your support we know we can reach our goal!
